Before contacting us

• If the microphone does not work, allow microphone access for Talk Translator in your device settings. For on-device recognition on iPhone, also check the Speech Recognition permission.
• On iPhone, on-device processing may require downloading speech recognition and translation models for your selected languages. Translation on Android requires an internet connection.
• Online processing and QR sharing require an internet connection. Account registration and sign-in are not required. On-device processing is free and unlimited.
• People joining through the QR code do not need the app and can choose their reading language in a browser.

Purchases and refunds

Purchases and billing are processed through Apple on iPhone and Google Play on Android. If a purchase does not appear, restart the app and restore purchases under Plans & Usage. For refunds, check the purchase history or support service of the store where you purchased.

If you cannot claim the welcome offer, for example on a second-hand device, contact support so we can review your situation.

Delete usage data

In the app, open Settings > Privacy > Delete Usage Data. Unused online-translation time is also removed, and deletion cannot be undone. Cancel your subscription separately through Apple or Google Play, depending on where you purchased it.

Contact by email

Email support@translator.synome.jp with the app version, OS version, steps you took, and any error shown. Do not send passwords, verification codes, or full conversation text. Some inquiries may take additional time to answer.
